All About Troop
252
Fairport, NY

We've been training good leaders since
1975, primarily through a unique fun and educational outdoor program. We
are Fairport's High Adventure Troop. We hope this site will help answer
questions regarding the Troop and how it functions. Here are some key points:
- Troop 252 is boy-run. That means that
Patrol Leaders, Junior Leaders, and Senior Leaders plan and direct weekly
meetings, monthly campouts, and special activities. Through progressive
steps in leadership boys develop self reliance, responsibility, and the
ability to assist the younger scouts.
- Experienced Adult Leaders guide Scout activities
through a mentoring system.
- Parents support the Troop through Troop Committee
activities.
